Mending my favorite H&M cardigan

 One of my favorite blogs, Sherry's Pattern ~ Scissors ~ Cloth, had the great idea of starting Fix-it-Fridays. I immediately signed up, and then failed to keep up... except for the first Friday.

For 5 or 6 years now I've had a wonderful cardigan I bought at H&M. Its style is vaguely military and I love the many buttons, but the best feature is its shape, which is the most flattering thing ever on my type of body.

But I've been very neglectful. I let two, nearly three, buttons fall off and part of the neckline began unraveling.

I'm a little ashamed to say that I loved the cardigan so much that I still wore it that way...


But no more. My cardigan is as good as new. Thanks Sherry!
